About The Yeshiva

Yeshiva Ohr Simcha was founded in 1997 by HaRav Yosef Strassfeld, זצ”ל, with a mission to provide exceptional chinuch at both the Mesivta and Bais Medrash levels. The Yeshiva combines serious learning and strong hashkafos with an understanding of each bochur’s individual needs, creating an environment where talmidim can grow, succeed, and truly shteig.

Our Rebbeim develop close kesharim with the bochurim, offering guidance, support, and personal connection — whether learning b’chavrusa, speaking one-on-one, or simply being approachable throughout the day. This warmth, together with meaningful incentive programs, helps each bochur grow into a true Ben Torah.

The Ruach HaYeshiva is one of our greatest strengths: a place where every bochur feels comfortable, valued, and part of something larger. Older bochurim naturally help younger talmidim, Rebbeim are positive and encouraging, and the atmosphere during learning, mesibos, and Yomim Tovim is uplifting and energizing.
